The screen capture of the MMIXX first ever successful run
(mmixx/pattern.mms ). It is instructive to see how
much overhead there is in the vanilla
putPixel() . Clearly, a graphics accelerator is badly
needed for high-end MMIX powered virtual
computers.

Lorentz attractor with cannonical values of parameters
(sigma=10, rho=28, beta=8/3). The system was solved with the
fourth-order Runge-Kutta, XY view of the trajectory is
shown. Produced by running mmixx/lorentz.mmo . Colors
chosen for a pleasing visual effect. 648x507 pixels. Glass, phosphorus,
electron beams

Same as above, but this time as seen from the XZ plane. (Or
was it YZ?) That's the question! Problem: change mmixx/lorentz.mms to produce this image.
